Alixio Group announces a significant new step in its European expansion with the acquisition of INTERPERSONA AG in Switzerland, a highly specialised provider of executive labour-market measures and outplacement services. The transfer of ownership will be completed in January 2026.
Switzerland plays a central role in Alixio Group’s European growth strategy
During 2025, Alixio Group has built a strong and diversified presence in Switzerland, through von Rundstedt Switzerland, the OTP Group, and X-PM, making Alixio Group Switzerland the national leader in career transition, outplacement, interim management and HR transformation consulting.
The acquisition of INTERPERSONA strengthens this position further
For more than 15 years, INTERPERSONA has collaborated with SECO and cantonal employment offices across Switzerland, providing highly structured and peer-level support for senior executives and top-tier professionals undergoing career transitions. It has successfully established itself as a recognised player in this specific segment of labour market measures.
“This acquisition accelerates our ambition to build Europe’s most comprehensive human-capital and HR transformation network,” says Guillaume Allais, CEO of Alixio Group. “INTERPERSONA’s deep expertise in supporting highly qualified professionals strengthens a critical part of our offering in Switzerland, a market of strategic importance for Alixio Group and a cornerstone of our European growth plans.”
INTERPERSONA will continue operating as an independent legal entity and brand
Founder and CEO Dr Thomas N. Stemmle will remain in his role, ensuring continuity for clients and partners. To support future development and maximise collaboration with other Alixio entities, Edgar Spieler, Director Public & Innovation at Alixio Group Switzerland, will assume the additional role of Co-CEO alongside Dr Stemmle.
“We, and therefore our clients, will benefit greatly from working with Alixio Group, which brings extensive experience, significant resources and an excellent national and international network as the market leader in outplacement, HR consulting and interim management in the private sector,” says Dr. Stemmle. “Alixio Group is close to the market and maintains a strong network that provides our clients with even broader and better prospects, including beyond Switzerland’s borders.”
“This acquisition creates a strong foundation from which all stakeholders will benefit,” says Dr Pascal Scheiwiller, CEO of Alixio Group Switzerland. “With INTERPERSONA, we are strengthening our labour market measures specifically in the segment of highly qualified professionals and executives, who are increasingly under pressure due to structural changes in the labour market. We are seeing a strong rise in demand from the cantons.”
